The Clean Sweeps

In our 25th anniversary season in 1957/58, the Club Championship trophy was inaugurated to celebrate the best performed club over the then 2 grades. Just as Epping had won a premiership in its own inaugural season,  so too the first Club Championship came for the first of many times to Norfolk Road.

Not to be outdone, the Epping men of 1974/75 went one better and secured the A, B and C Grade premierships, as well as the Club Championship in the first ever repeat of a clean sweep.

How do you top this. Well, Epping always finds a way and in 1979/80, we brought home the Club Championship,  A, B, C Grade premierships as well as the C Grade runners-up. An unprecedented third clean sweep.
